Foundational Protocol for QRA Testing

Everyone is different and procedures recommended depend on the history and tests being done. We look at the body as a whole unit with its interrelating systems.  We understand certain systems need to be strengthened before permanent healing can take place.
This is why the kidneys and the lymphatic system are evaluated first.  Once we address these two fundamental pillars of health, a foundation is laid to build good health.

Kidneys

Traditional oriental medical science views the kidney as the great reservoir of energy for the entire body. A deficiency of either kidney meridian (determined by QRA testing) can lead to imbalances in other organ systems that eventually cause disease and even death if the original imbalance at the kidney is not corrected.

The Kidney Meridians

In traditional oriental medicine, the Kidney System is responsible for many crucial bodily functions described as follows:

• Regulates blood mineral balance
• Plays a key role in immune regulation
• Regulates the body’s acid/alkaline balance (pH)
• Stimulates clear thinking and good memory by providing vitality to the mind
• Controls sexual and reproductive function
• Provides the prime source of sexual vitality
• Strengthens digestive function
• Is the source of will and courage providing a natural sense of self-confidence
• Controls the hair on the head – can prevent or reverse hair loss and graying
• Along with the Large intestine, controls fluid balance for the entire body
• Controls hearing function
• Nourishes the teeth – helps strengthen teeth to prevent disease, decay or breakage
• Controls the body’s inherent healing energy, skeleton development and all related tissues (tendons, ligaments)

Traditional oriental medicine tells us that together the Ming Men and Dan Tien are the root of our existence, replenishing the organs and vitalizing the channels.

When all these points, the kidney system (right and left) and the center points of Ming Men and Dan Tien are viewed as a cohesive and inter coordinating unit you get the four qualities of the kidney system. (Jing, Qui, Yin, Yang)

All these points are tested. Then targeted supplementation and nutritional programs and therapies are recommended as needed.

Lymphatic and pH status

We look at the lymph system because of its importance in nutritional delivery and waste removal for the entire body.  There is as much volume of lymph as blood in the body.
Unlike the blood that has the heart for circulation, the lymph must rely on physical activity of the individual to maintain its circulation. 

The pH status of the body is very important as a foundation for health. In order to create and maintain a proper pH we need good mineral levels in the soft tissue with proper ratios of calcium, magnesium and trace elements.  Balanced lymph chemistry is essential in order for minerals to be taken into the cell.

Chakra system of Ayurveda

In our quest for locating the “root of the root” imbalances of a client we test the seven major energy systems of the body, based on the ancient chakra system of ayurveda. By testing and working with these areas first, we strengthen and restore normal energy flow globally in the body.

Chief complaints:

Some of our clients come in with “chief complaints”, which can be addressed immediately.  For instance if someone comes in with fatigue as their chief complaint, the possible points for QRA testing would be adrenals, kidney, spleen, thyroid, GV-20, large intestines, and location of any related interference fields.  Therapies may include targeted organ/gland nutrition, targeted mud packs, individualized nutrition and if needed, a comprehensive detoxification program.

Interference Fields / Quantum Reflex Analysis (QRA)

The founder of Neural Therapy, Ferdinand Huneke, M.D., and his brother, Walter Huneke, M. D., made the term Interference Field popular.  An interference field is any pathologically damaged tissue which becomes electro-chemically abnormal. Any time a tissue is injured, it can continually excite the autonomic nervous system. These centers of irritation through the autonomic nervous system may cause pain and disease in other parts of the body.

Interference fields have lower electrical voltage than the surrounding tissues. A German neurophysiologist, Albert Fleckenstein, demonstrated that the cells in scar tissue have a different membrane potential from normal body cells, functioning much like a 1.5 volt battery implanted into the body. Whenever a cell has lost its normal membrane potential, ion pumps in the cell wall stop working. This means that abnormal minerals and toxic substances accumulate inside the cell. As a result, the cell loses the ability to heal itself and resume normal functioning. This area of lower voltage sends confusing signals to the body’s nervous system. Sometimes the body will react in an inappropriate way resulting in chronic pain and/or illness.

Interference fields can be found almost anywhere in the body and are often far from the part of the body experiencing symptoms. For example, an old appendix scar might cause migraine headaches or a wisdom tooth extraction scar might cause chronic low back pain. Most interference fields are found in the head region. According to Dr. Huneke, teeth and tonsils are the two most common, probably because they are close to the brain, autonomic ganglia, and nerves.  Scars are the next most common interference fields Any scar, no matter how small or old, even if it dates back to early childhood, can be the interference field causing therapy-resistant rheumatoid arthritis, hearing loss, sciatica, or many other serious disorders.

Q: What Is an IF?

A: IF stands for “interference field.” An interference field is an area of the body (small or large) that tests abnormally as a result of individual or multiple factors, such as scars, physical or emotional trauma, infection, nutritional deficiencies, heavy metal toxicity, etc. An interference field can impede the normal, healthy electromagnetic flow of the body’s acupuncture meridian system, thus creating symptomology that is difficult to trace back to its original root cause by conventional methods. An IF is an area of the body where there has been previous trauma such as an old scar or a whiplash from a car accident. Even though a trauma may be very old and is no longer painful, it can still act like a powerful short-circuit of the body’s natural energy flow to a specific organ or gland, thus creating many problems – often unresolvable even with many types of treatment.

Q: Why does the body develop weak areas and interference fields?

A: A key reason why the body has developed weakened areas that create abnormal reflexes to other parts of the body is due to insufficient quality and quantity of nutrients at the time of the trauma or injury. Premier quality nutrients are essential for the body to heal itself, especially during times of trauma. If the body does not have enough nutrients available at the time of the trauma or injury, then the area can become weakened. Once an area of the body has become weakened, it is more likely for toxic chemicals or metabolic toxins to accumulate there

Q: How can the body eliminate interference fields?
